Who says you can’t wear black and blue together? Cobalt blue and black is one of my favorite color combinations and I love adding fun accessories to this color pallet. I’ve been wanting these leopard print sneakers for a long time and finally went for it. Kind of like my camo slip-ons (that my mom hates) they make me instantly feel more relaxed and cool without trying too hard. I love the neckline on this cut out peplum top, it makes it feel unique and easy to style. Get ready to see it way more. TGIF!

I have a large collection of nail polish and prefer to do my nails myself rather than go to the salon. I do them at least once a week and really love changing up the color depending on the season. I have my tried and true all time favorites that are always in the mix, (I’m looking at you “fiji“), but this spring I’m all about some fun pastels and punchy brights. Here are my five current favorite colors (they all happen to be essie).
pinky nail: “butler please”
ring finger: “fiji”
middle finger: “mint candy apple”
index finger: “haute as hello”
thumb: “splash of grenadine”
What are your favorite nail colors? I’d love to know!

All spring long I’ve been living in these sweatshirts from Sol Angeles. They’re such a perfect layering piece when the temperatures drop and look great with everything. We went down to the beach to watch the sunset the other night and my sailboat sweatshirt could not have been a more perfect thing to wear. I stayed warm and felt like I was wrapped in the comfiest blanket… win win.

I always love a boho dress and this floral one (and the price) was too good to pass up. I wore this Saturday to an engagement party, but could just as easily have worn it in the desert at Coachella. Who doesn’t love pieces that transition from day to night with a few simple tweaks? This dress will be on heavy rotation all spring and summer long!

This is a pretty typical outfit for me high-low wise. I am a huge shopper, hell I shop for a living, so I think of dressing kind of like putting together a puzzle. Each piece is different, bringing it’s own unique voice to the plate. I love the juxtaposition of mixing Forever 21 and Chanel… H&M and Goyard, and that’s just what I did here. Sticking with the juxtaposition theme, I played off my soft pastel base with bold gold shoes and black accents and love the way it turned out.
We finally made it to the weekend, have a great one!

To make a slow week (this one is really dragging) speed up the pace I like to put on a fun outfit. This one was just the cure. I am taking advantage of our weather and bringing out some of my favorite summery pieces. I’ve always loved denim vest over dresses, it’s the perfect alternative to a denim jacket when it’s just too hot. Mirrored sunglasses have been on my wish list for awhile now so I was thrilled when I received these in a gift bag over the weekend. Here’s to a speedy rest of the week!
